Hangdog Climbing Gym runs regular Outdoor Guided Climbing Days in both Wollongong and Nowra.

Hangdog provides all safety equipment and instruction, all you need to bring is a snack, suncream and a sense of adventure.

These days are designed for the complete beginner, or people who have been indoor climbing and would now like to try their skills on real rock. Let our qualified instructors introduce you to the growing sport of rock climbing and advise on:

- Safety around the crag

- Care for the environment

- Correct belay techniques

- How to read a guide book

- Effective climbing techniques, and much more

The cost of the day is $70.00 per person. All equipment and instruction is supplied by Hangdog. You are welcome to use your own shoes and harness if you have them.

Outdoor Guiding

In addition to the regular outdoor guided climbing groups that we run, Hangdog can offer qualified outdoor climbing guides for individuals or groups at a time that suits you.
